We are glad you are interested in visiting us at Redeemer/Hillview! Here is some helpful information as you plan your visit.
Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Hillview a great one!
Service Time
We currently have one weekly worship gathering each Sunday. We gather at 10:30 AM. There is plenty of parking behind the building. Just pull around to the right.
What can I expect?
How long is our service?
In total, a Redeemer worship gathering is about 75-90 minutes in length. Sunday Services begin with the Redeemer Worship Team leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. Blended in with the songs are other forms of worship such as Prayer, Scripture Reading, and giving. After the music portion of the service is a Bible based message that tells the good news of Jesus and provides practical application for life. At Redeemer we center around the Word so messages are usually part of a series from one book of the Bible. For more information about our current series, see our sermons page.
What's the culture like at Redeemer?
We are a mixed group at Redeemer. We reflect our diverse community and contain many ethnicities as well as age groups. Sunday’s at Redeemer are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
We love kids at Redeemer. Our classes meet at 9:00. All of our teachers have been background checked and we hope your kids will love their time. During the worship gathering we welcome kids in worship. We think that even at young ages there is much they can learn. For those who are not comfortable worshiping with their children for whatever reason we do offer service time care.
